报告人简介
Dr. Maoyi Huang has been a senior research scientist at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory since 2010. She conducts research on the complex multi-scale interactions among the terrestrial water cycle, ecosystem dynamics, and human activities using an Earth system science approach through model development, applications, and model-data integration. Prior to joining PNNL, she was a research assistant professor in the Department of Civil, Structural, and Environmental Engineering at the State University of New York at Buffalo from 2008-2009, and a Postdoctoral Research Associate in Global Ecology at Carnegie Institution for Science in Stanford from 2005-2008. She earned her Ph.D. and M.S. in Civil and Environmental Engineering in 2005 and 2001 from the University of California at Berkeley, with a focus on surface water hydrology and land surface modeling. She also holds a M.S. in Atmospheric Sciences from Peking University and a B.S. in Economic Geography and Urban/Regional Planning from Zhongshan University.
